Course Objective:
Product management is the process of managing the development and marketing of a product throughout its lifecycle. The development aspect of product management involves ideation, conceptualization, prototyping, and production, while the marketing aspect involves positioning, branding, and marketing itself.
In the creative industries, product management may take on two further forms. Firstly, the creative product manager may be engaged to manage the creative sections of a larger product. The creative product manager in this instance would be working in any industry, such as, but not limited to, aerospace, marine, pharmaceutical, retail, or FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods).
